You want to give your boyfriend a gift and you just don’t know what to give.  That’s ok; I am going to give you a few ideas that might help you to start thinking in the right direction.  The idea is to give something a little different but you don’t want to spend a mint.  You want to get his attention, and let him know that you like him and think of him.  There is a message here.   I will give you a few ideas to get your head in the right spot and you can take it from here. 

How about a pair of custom shoes, does he wear Converse?   Did you know that you can go to the Converse website and design a pair of custom Converse for him with all his favorite colors and patterns?  You can go to the site and look at a shoe and point and click the different parts of the shoe to make different colors and patterns, you can rotate the shoe to see it from different angles and directions.  You can even have his name embroidered on the side of the shoe.  Tell me he won’t think of you every time he laces those babies up!

I am sure he likes music. Take a look at the local concert colander and check out some of the shows that are coming to town.  Get him a pair of concert tickets to a band that he likes, this is something he may not have the money to afford himself.  Give him a CD and taped to the bottom, are a pair of concert tickets to the same band.  You will make him very happy and you will get to go too!

If you want to get super creative, you can go to the art department of your local College or Junior college and place some advertisements around for an artist that would do a pencil sketch portrait of you.  Those aspiring artists are more than happy to do a piece of work for money, they would even be honored.  You can get this done for a reasonable price and it will be the most original gift that he has ever gotten.   He will remember you forever, each and every time he looks at this portrait on his wall.

These are all gifts that let him know you really care and you think about him, just be a little different and the gift will be extra special.
