Gifts for Him- Chose Wisely
October 20th, 2009Author: editorWhen it comes to buying and giving of gifts for the man in your life, you can go one of two ways. You can give the standard gifts that all women seem to give their men, the cologne, the sox, the ties, oh my, I am starting to yawn…excuse me. You could also go a different direction and choose to give the man in your life something that will open his eyes and tell him that you really do notice and that you really do still think about him. I am going to give you a few ideas that might get you going in the right direction to begin to be a person that will give gifts of substance.
We all know how hard it is for a guy to get some time to go and do something with his guy friends, there is never enough time and there is always some type of chores to do around the home. He does not dare to ask to go and do something with the boys. Well how about you recognize this need and for the gift give him a new fishing pole or tackle box and attached to the gift could be a gift certificate for a weekend at that fishing lodge in the mountains that he loves so much, or how about a gift certificate for a day of deep sea fishing off the coast on a charter boat. A gift like this says “go be a guy, have some fun, don’t feel bad and enjoy yourself for a little while before having to deal with life again”. Try this and see the smile on his face.
If the man in your life is a busy executive or salesman, you know he seems to have forgotten how to relax. You can help him to remember to relax by giving him a gift of a book of certificates for full body massage. You could give him a years worth of massages, once per month for a year. Give him a nice calendar for his office, and mark one day a month for his massage. He will not only remember his massage but he will remember you also.
Another gift that says “go have a little fun” is go cart racing. This has become quite popular in many cities across the U. S. and gift certificates for this are easy to obtain.
I hope that this helped you to choose a gift for him, let him buy his own sox from now on.
